Description:

“Block” off your days, weeks or weekends! On Tuesday, January 3, 2023 the Canton Public Library is hosting a Lego competition just like the good ol’ days. We are challenging you to create a Story Scene from your favorite book. You can recreate a favorite setting, book cover or a scene with your favorite characters. Go bananas! But please remember to keep submissions family friendly, as all age ranges will be on display.This is a community-wide contest where each age range will be judged, and a winner determined. Age categories are K-2nd grade, 3rd-4th grade, 5th-6th grade, 7th-8th grade, 9th grade-adult. Registration for a spot begins on November 22, 2022. Please read all of the contest rules and guidelines below and don’t forget to fill out an entry form for your creation.One registration per entry, please. When possible, please register using the library card of the person entering the contest. If you do not have a library card, sign up for one HERE. Having trouble planning your build? Visit the library or browse our online catalog to assist in piecing together an idea. We have lots of books to use for inspiration. Lego of your inhibitions and build something great today!
