Wayne State University has signed four new student athletes for its women’s volleyball team ahead of next season. The recruits include players recognized for their achievements at Michigan high schools as well as one standout from Indiana. Head coach Tim Koth says they are an excellent fit for the program.

Wayne State University’s baseball team defeated Purdue Northwest 12-9 to avoid elimination from the GLIAC Tournament. The Warriors combined strong offense with key pitching performances and will play again Saturday for another chance to advance.
