Wayne State University’s Kayla Giroux is set to join the USA Division II Volleyball Team for a competitive tour in Brazil. Giroux, hailing from Flat Rock, Michigan, will be part of a group of 19 Division II volleyball players representing 12 different programs.

The team will be divided into two squads: the Blue Team and the Red Team. Both teams are scheduled to play a doubleheader in Jundiai on May 13, followed by another match in Sao Paulo on May 14. The teams will then head to Rio de Janeiro for an “International Challenge” on May 17, where they will face Fluminense and Barra Mansa Volei Clube. In addition to competing, the players will conduct youth clinics and visit schools and sports clubs while experiencing Brazilian culture.
