On Saturday, March 1, former University Liggett School standout Preston Barr’s current college team, the Michigan Wolverines, won 10-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Long Beach State Beach.

The game took place at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field. This was their second matchup against the Beach this season.

The Wolverines’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 2 at 1 p.m. at Bohl Diamond at Blair Field against Long Beach State Beach.

Wayne State men’s golf to compete in NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional

Wayne State University’s men’s golf team has been selected for its eighteenth NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional appearance since 2004. Coach Mike Horn expresses optimism about his team’s performance heading into competition starting May 7.
