South High School issued the following announcement on Sept. 6.
Interested in exploring the Florida Keys at Sea Camp? Does Marine Biology interest you? If so, there will be an important informational meeting for students and parents on Monday, September 9th at 7:00 in the South Library. This trip is open to all former or current AP Biology or AP Environmental students. Or if you have a special interest in Marine Biology, you're welcome to come as well. If you cannot make the meeting, please see Mrs. Rothenbuhler or Mr. McNamara for more information.
Reminder: Seniors who paid for parking permits must pick them up from Mrs. Hannan in the front office. Parking permits matching your parking spot assignment must be displayed in your vehicle at all times. Parking enforcement will be in full effect beginning Monday September 9th.
For those Junior and Seniors who, over the summer, received an invitation letter to apply to NHS please be reminded that there is an informational meeting Monday morning at 8:15 am and again on Tuesday at 3:05. The application process will be discussed. Attendance is not mandatory but the meeting will be helpful for you to better understand the process. If you are unable to attend either and have questions please do not hesitate to ask Mrs. Nap in the CRC.
