City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on Sept. 6.
The east half of Cadieux Road is closed for the first phase of construction, and traffic is currently shifted to the west side of the road. One lane is open for south bound traffic only. North bound traffic is detoured. Concrete curb and gutter, concrete base repairs, and sidewalks/ramps will be completed today
for phase I.
Contractor is scheduled to condition the milled surface on Cadiuex and Charlevoix in the middle of next week* to be followed with paving the HMA leveling course in order to give the concrete time to cure before conditioning starts.
