City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on Sept. 9.

Come on out and learn the safety rules and proper form to help you succeed in archery. Learn or improve your skills while experiencing several types of archery - World target (formally known as FITA), NFAA field targets, and 3D animal targets during the weekly progression of classes. Motor City Archers coaches and instructors are USA Archery certified, and will help you learn and elevate your skills in archery. This
will be a four week program taking place at Windmill Pointe Park near the tennis courts and horseshoe pits on Monday nights for one hour. Equipment provided for those who do not have their own. Sign up online or at the Lavins Activity Center.
