South High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 11.
October is College Application Month and a lot of activity is happening throughout the school. On Mondays before school, 7:50am, the Counselors are available in the Library to help you with anything college related. They will be on hand to help you with your applications and answer any questions about the process. AND every Friday in the Library during both lunch periods, the Counselors are yet again available to help you with your college applications. FREE pizza will be served to those who work on an application. And it gets even better...several colleges have waived their application fees during October. Please see your counselor or pop into the CRC for a list of schools offering free applications. And if you think it can't get even better...think again. The College Application Month celebration has added another competition. This week’s contest? Guess the College Mascot. What schools do these 4 mascots represent? See bulletin board outside counseling center for more details. Winner will be announced Monday and will received a great prize!!
