City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Nov. 14.
Due to the historic early snowfall, yard waste collection has been suspended for the week. Rubbish and recycling collection is still on schedule.
Please note, that bulk curbside leaf collection has NOT ended for the season and will resume as soon as possible. Additionally, bulk leaf collection will be extended at least a week into December to make up for the delay this week.
Notification of the resumption of bulk leaf collection will be sent using Nixle, email and Facebook.
