South High School issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
All students. This week is Varsity Club's annual Warmth Drive for Cass Community Services of Detroit. We are collecting new and used coats, hats, gloves, boots, and blankets. Each student will receive a ticket for each item donated for one of two $25 gift cards, and the club or sports team with the highest percentage donated will earn $150 for their organization. We are collecting in front of Cleminson at both lunches through TODAY.
