City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Dec. 26.
Close to 12 million seniors live alone and the holidays can be a challenging time, but with a little support from friends and family, they don't have to be. Around the holidays, a few thoughtful gestures can make all of the difference. You can help by paying a visit, making one of their favorite meals and enjoying it with them, helping out around the house, offering to do the driving and running errands with them or helping decorating for the holidays. https://bit.ly/36vDndg
