City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on April 24.
On Monday, April 27, 2020 Wayne County will begin road work on Mack Avenue from Wayburn Street to Cadieux Road. The project will repair 1.3 miles of asphalt and install ADA concrete sidewalks and ramps. Please note that there could be some unexpected delays in the project start date due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The project is estimated to be completed in Fall 2020, barring any unforeseen delays or inclement weather. Final restoration including road striping and seeding of shoulder areas, if needed, will be completed as weather allows.
