CITY OF GROSSE POINTE FARMS: Pier Park Summer Programming Update

Update

City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on April 30.

Given the nature of the Executive Order put forth by Governor Whitmer, there have been some changes regarding the Registration Process and Summer Recreation Program Dates at Pier Park.

Originally registration for all programs was set to begin today (May 1). We have currently postponed all registrations for summer programs until further notice. This includes: Swim Team, Synchronized Swim Team, Tennis, Archery, Dance, Exercise Classes, Boating Courses, Special Events, etc. On May 15th, or when the Stay Home, Stay Safe Order is set to expire, this will be re-evaluated.

We will continue to work with all of our instructors as well as the local and state governments in order to provide our residents the most up-to-date and accurate information as it becomes readily available.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during these unprecedented times.

For additional information regarding our park operations during the COVID-19 pandemic visit parks.grossepointefarms.org Also, feel free to contact the Director of Parks and Recreation: Chris Galatis or the Recreation and Aquatics Supervisor: Kat Trost if you have any questions or concerns.
