City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on May 6.
There is *NOT* an election in the City of Grosse Pointe Farms Tuesday, May 5th, 2020. The next election will take place on August 4, 2020.
Make sure your registered to vote on www.mi.gov/vote. Once you enter your identifying information into www.mi.gov/vote you can also sign up for the permanent absentee voter list (or confirm your on it). Once your on the list you will automatically receive an application to vote absentee before each election.
Residents who have a State of Michigan Driver's License or Identification Card can register to vote online at www.michigan.gov/voterregistration. If you or your family member is a potential first time voter please check out this option.
If you have any questions after visiting these websites please email elections@grossepointefarms.org. Again, there is NO election in Grosse Pointe Farms on Tuesday.
