City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on May 12
The City of Grosse Pointe Farms follows a mixed recycling process where all your recyclables are placed loose in the recycling cart. No need to separate paper from plastic, glass and metal. Recycling is collected weekly curbside on your trash day. Collection starts at 7:00 a.m. Please follow the recycling guidelines to keep rubbish out of the recycling stream. To purchase a 64 gallon recycling cart at a cost of $60 please call 313-885-6600 and leave a message with your name, address and phone number.
