City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on June 4
We are excited to announce that the Parks and Recreation Office located inside the Community Building at Pier Park has reopened.
At this time we are only allowing 2 people into the office at a time in order to following the 6ft social distancing requirements. All residents entering the building will be required to wear a mask.
Our office hours will be Monday-Friday from 8-4pm
Park Passes are available for pick up. Residents picking up their park passes must have their Drivers License/State ID showing their Grosse Pointe Farms address. If the Drivers License/State ID doesn’t show your Grosse Pointe Farms address you must bring a utility bill with your name and Grosse Pointe Farms address along with your Drivers License/State ID for us to verify identity.
To apply for your 2020 park passes please visit us at parks.grossepointefarms.org and click on Park Passes on the left hand side of the page to apply for passes online.
More information will be released in the coming days as it relates to other amenities (Pavilion Rentals, General Picnics, Playgrounds & Aquatics Facility) here at Pier Park
