City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on June 12.
The City of Grosse Pointe Park is proud to announce that City Hall will be reopening to the public on Monday, June 15th. Additional proactive measures to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the community will be in effect including limited hours for walk-in customers
City Hall (excluding the 24 hour Public Safety Dispatch desk) will be open for walk-in customers during the following hours:
Monday: 8:30am – 11:30am; 12pm – 4pm
Tuesday: 8:30am – 11:30am; 12pm – 4pm
Wednesday: 8:30am – 11:30am; 12pm – 4pm
Thursday: 8:30am – 11:30am; 12pm – 4pm
Friday: 8:30am – 11:30am; 12pm – 4pm
The office will be closed for cleaning and sanitizing from 11:30am – 12pm and 4pm – 4:30pm.
Additional Department of Parks and Rec Updates:
- Picnic Permits are now available and residents must complete a covid-19 waiver for their picnic as well as the picnic permit application
- Volleyball courts will be open for use Friday, June 12. All players must submit their own volleyballs for play
- Play structures at both parks are open
- Push carts will be out for use. We encourage them to be returned promptly to be sanitized.
- With the exception of restrooms, all other park buildings remain closed to the public.
