Wayne County Public Schools issued the following announcement on August 3.
Wayne County Public School students who were not initially placed into the advanced mathematics course for the 2020-2021 school year, have the opportunity to request to take the prior grade level EOG or course EOC, if they choose to do so, to determine if they are eligible for advanced mathematics placement.
Administration of the EOG/EOC is voluntary and is only necessary if the student is not already placed in the advanced placement for their grade or course.
Our district website has additional information, the necessary request form and Spanish, French, and Creole translations. All requests must be submitted to the school administrator or guidance counselor by August 10, 2020. Testing will be completed from August 10, 2020, to August 14, 2020.
