Wayne County Public Schools issued the following announcement on Sept. 5.
WCPS has been notified that an individual who was recently on the Grantham Elementary campus and an individual who was recently on the Grantham Middle campus have tested positive for COVID-19. All recommended guidelines from the NC Department of Health and Human Services have been followed. As always, please be mindful to wear a mask, wash your hands, and practice social distancing when on a WCPS campus.
