Wayne, Michigan Administration Community Updates issued the following announcement on Sept. 3.
Can you help on Saturday, September 12th from 9:00 a.m. until 12 noon?
Shafer Park was missed this summer on the parks and trails clean-up schedule due to COVID-19. Therefore, Alfred Brock, resident and member of the Parks and Trails Committee is putting together an impromptu clean-up for this park on Saturday, September 12th.
If you can help, please remember to wear a mask as you might be working in close proximity with another volunteer and bring a pair of gloves and bug spray. The rest of the supplies will be provided.
