Wayne County Public Schools issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.
WCPS has been notified that an individual who was recently on the Brogden Primary campus and an individual who was recently on the Northeast Elementary campus have tested positive for COVID-19. All recommended guidelines from the NC Department of Health and Human Services have been followed.
