City of Grosse Pointe Park issued the following announcement on Oct. 6.
Please be advised that the water has been shut off on the 1000 block of Nottingham for the repair of the water main. Water will be shut off for approximately the next 4-6 hours. Residents of the 1100 block of Nottingham may experience discolored water during this time. When water service is resumed, please run cold water faucets in laundry tubs in basements until water runs clear. Thank you for your patience during this emergency repair.
