Wayne, Michigan Administration Community Updates issued the following announcement on Oct. 10.
The City of Wayne seeks to hire individuals immediately for their Homebound Senior Meal Delivery Program. Meals on Wheels is a Wayne County Program Housed within the City of Wayne that offers meal Delivery to homebound seniors or individuals 60 and above
Drivers would be needed on Mondays for approximately 5 hours to deliver meals to seniors within the City. That rate of pay is $9.65 per hour. A vehicle will be provided by the City of Wayne.
Applications are available at the City Clerk Counter, 3355 S. Wayne Road, Wayne, MI 48184 or on our website: http://cityofwayne.compdfs/employapp.pdf . Completed applications must be returned to the Personnel Department.
