City of Hamtramck issued the following announcement on Oct. 28.
Beginning tomorrow, Thursday, October 29, there will be resurfacing of Whalen Street from Mackay to Fleming. Cars must be removed no later than 7 am to allow for the curb work to be completed. Parking will be allowed in certain areas throughout the project which is expected to be completed by November 6th. Residents in the area were given flyers with more detail. If you have questions, please call 313-800-5233 ext. 817 to the Department of Public Services.
