City of Grosse Pointe Farms issued the following announcement on Nov. 24.
The City offices and Municipal Court will be closed on Thursday, November 26th and Friday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
There will be no residential rubbish, recycling or leaf collection on Thursday, November 26th.
There will be no interruption of Wednesday’s rubbish and recycling routes. Wednesday’s leaf collection will be collected on Friday.
Thursday’s rubbish and recycling routes will be collected on Friday, November 27th. Thursday’s leaf collection will be collected on Saturday, November 28th.
Friday’s rubbish and recycling will be collected on Saturday, November 28th. Friday’s leaf collection will be collected on Monday, November 30th as usual.
