Wayne County, Michigan issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.
“With the uptick in COVID-19 cases so close to the holidays, our public health teams have stepped up its effort to offer more testing opportunities to keep families safe,” said Wayne County Executive Warren C. Evans.
Wayne County is ramping up COVID-19 testing to respond to an increase in cases.
The Wayne County Public Health Division says COVID-19 cases in the county have increased to levels matching those at the beginning of the pandemic.
