The City will be continuing the bulk pickup of these flood damaged items through Aug. 2-6 and then will be returning to standard collection practices the week of Aug. 9-13.
So, people in the Monday trash district should have their flood damaged items out on the curb prior to 7 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 2 for their final pickup.
People in the Tuesday trash district should have their flood damaged items on the curb prior to 7 a.m. on Tuesday for their final pickup.
People in the Wednesday trash district should put their flood damaged items on the curb before 7 a.m. on Wednesday for their final pickup.
The same pattern will continue on Thursday and Friday, with final pickups each of those trash days.
Extensive bulk items set at the curb beginning Aug. 9 may be subject to a special pickup fee.
To assist residents with disposing of their bulk items, the city’s DPW yard, 2915 Greenfield, will continue to be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday from July 31 through August 28 for the drop off of unwanted or damaged materials.
