Van Buren Charter Township - MI issued the following announcement on Sept. 2.
Located at 405 Main Street in Belleville, the BAM will reopen on Tuesday, September 7 at noon. Open hours include Tuesdays - Saturdays from 12 – 6 PM. Hours are subject to change in December, due to the holidays.
Current displays included a Women’s Suffrage & Vintage Department Store Room. It includes a 19th Amendment flag along with hats and costumes to try on.
Admission into the museum is free, but donations are welcome. All events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. You can sign up for events by stopping by the BAM or by calling 734-697-1944.
The 2021 Fall events include:
- Booville Bonfire Kickoff - Tuesday, October 5 from 5-7 PM
- Harvest Fest - Saturday, Saturday, October 9 from 11 AM – 3 PM
- Soop Cemetery Tour – Saturday, October 16 from 3 – 5 PM; $15 per person
- Kids Halloween Party- Sunday, October 24 from 3 – 5 PM
- Downtown Trick or Treat- Friday, October 29 from 5 – 7 PM
- Museum Holiday Decorating – November 1-19 by appointment only
- Belle Noelle Bonfire – Tuesday, November 23 from 5 – 7 PM
- Santa Picture & Ornament Workshop – Saturday, December 11& 18 from 12 – 4 PM; $2 per child.
