Hamtramck Public Schools issued the following announcement on Nov. 19.
Dear Hamtramck Families: As a reminder, please be advised that Monday, November 22, Tuesday, November 23 and Wednesday, November 24, students will be learning virtually. There will be no in-person classes!
HPS is going online in the three days leading up to Thanksgiving break to provide ample opportunity to spend with family and more time for our custodial staff to conduct sanitation and detailing in the school buildings. We wish you and your family a happy and healthy holiday season.
