Description:
Early child research shows that bilingual children have an edge in development. Speaking two languages benefits children’s overall learning, marked by larger vocabularies, flexible problem-solving skills, and higher-level cognitive abilities. Bilingual learning also supports a set of mental skills that allow children to thrive academically, regulate emotions, and grow into mentally healthier adults.
Join us as we share books, rhymes and songs that serve as an introduction to and will help foster an appreciation of our wonderful multicultural community and languages. Activities presented will be geared to children between the ages of 0-5 years old.
All World Language Storytimes will take place in the Community Room and will be approximately 30 minutes long. Dates and times are as follows:
Thursday, August 18, 10:00AM - Arabic
