Date: Saturday, July 23, 2022
Time: 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM
Location: Canton Public Library, Michigan
Description:
Families with young children ages 0-5 looking for a fun way to experience stories and songs can join us for outdoor Wings of Wonder Storytime. Together with a Youth Librarian, build early literacy skills in a welcoming environment through meaningful stories and connection. Encourage a love of language and reading while practicing listening and cooperative tasks.
All storytimes take place near our Wings of Wonder butterfly garden in the back of the library so bring a blanket for dewy morning grass and some bug spray to keep the mosquitos at bay. You may bring snacks and drinks. In case of inclement weather, storytime will be moved indoors to the Community Room. Please note that the storytime will be between 20-30 minutes and WILL NOT be followed by an open play time.
There is NO REGISTRATION for this program. Although outdoor restrictions may have been lifted, we ask that each family is mindful of their storytime neighbors and give each other plenty.
