Preschool Storytime (Monday morn, ages 3 1/2-5) (Event 4 of 6) on November 28, 2022

When:

Monday, November 28, 2022

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Where: Canton Public Library, Michigan

Description:

Preschool storytimes feature longer books, flannel board and rhymes designed for children ages 3 1/2 - 5. These activities help develop pre-reading and school-readiness skills. Children must be able to sit independently and be attentive for 30 minutes. Parents may attend temporarily, if needed, to help transition their child to this program. All parents must remain in the lobby area or in the children's department during the program. Please pick a Monday OR a Friday session.

Being that this program is for children aged 3 1/2 to 5 years old, please register your child's name instead of the parent's name. This makes it clear to us who is attending the program. We also use the information to create personalized nametags for your child. Siblings that fit this age range should be registered separately. If your child does not have a library card this would be a great opportunity to get them one. With consideration for the ongoing pandemic, and in response to patron feedback, please take special note of the following:Registration is required for Preschool Storytime.

Registration is for the entire 6-week session.Masks are recommended, but not required, for any children over age 2. Fully vaccinated presenting librarian may choose not to wear a mask.

To minimize disruptions, patrons who arrive more than five minutes late will not be able to enter the program.

If you have further questions about storytime, registration, or other library programming, please call the library at 734-397-0999.Due to high demand in attendance, we generate a waitlist for this program. If you are registered and find you cannot attend, please remove your name from the list to open up spots for waitlist patrons.Attendance at Library events constitutes consent to be photographed for use in print and/or electronic publicity for the Canton Public Library.
