DETROIT -- Fourth-year head coach Larry Hamilton and the Wayne State University women's golf program have announced their fall schedule for the 2024-25 season. The Warriors will participate in five two-day tournaments during September and October before transitioning to the spring portion of their schedule.
The 11th season of WSU women's golf begins on Sept. 9-10 in Peru, Ind., at Rock Hollow Golf Club for the UIndy Invitational. This event marks the start of a series where the Warriors will compete on four consecutive Mondays and Tuesdays. Following this, they will play at Ohio Dominican's Champions of Women's Golf Classic at Champions Golf Course in Columbus, Ohio, on Sept. 16-17.
On Sept. 23-24, Wayne State will host a tournament for the first time in program history with the Warrior Invitational at Orchards Golf Club in Washington, Mich. The team will then participate in Findlay's William Beall Fall Classic at Findlay Country Club from Sept. 30 to Oct. 1. The fall schedule concludes with the Davenport Panther Invitational at Stonehedge North Golf Course in Augusta, Mich., on Oct. 12-13, which is also the site of the GLIAC Championships scheduled for April 24-27.
