The Wayne State University men's golf program is set to commence the fall segment of its 2024-25 schedule this weekend. The Warriors will compete at Saginaw Valley State's Al Watrous Invitational, hosted at Sawmill Golf Club in Saginaw, Michigan.

"It's an exciting start to the year as we have some new faces qualifying near the top," said head coach Mike Horn. "We've got talent very deep, including guys who aren't traveling. I'm very excited to see how some of the new faces handle the situation and handle the spotlight. I know they have everything they possibly need to be successful, now it's up to them to perform to their capabilities. It'll be nice to see some live action and I can't wait to see what this year holds for the Warriors on the golf course."

The tournament field includes teams from Davenport, Findlay, Northern Michigan, Northwood, Purdue Northwest, Saginaw Valley State, and Wayne State.
