Wayne State concludes participation at BGSU's Dolores Black Falcon Invitational

The Wayne State University women's golf team concluded its participation in the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational at Stone Ridge Golf Club, Bowling Green, Ohio. The team finished 13th among 14 teams with a total score of 636 (+60), making them the only Division II team in the competition.

Pennsylvania University emerged victorious in the invitational with a score of 579 (+3), maintaining their lead from Saturday. They were followed by Harvard, which secured second place with a score of 589 (+13).

Individually, Maisarah Hezri led Wayne State with scores of 76 (+4) and 77 (+5) over two rounds, tying for 27th out of a field of 86 players. Other notable performances included Beca Vestman and Inja Fric, who both tied for 49th with scores of +14.

Orianna Bylsma competed as an individual and did not contribute to the team's overall score. She scored rounds of 80 and 87, placing her tied for 69th.

Wayne State's next tournament will be Walsh University's Cavalier Classic on April 15-16 at Glenmoor Country Club in Canton, Ohio. This event will serve as their final regular-season contest before the GLIAC Championships from April 19-21.
