Senior golfer Beca Vestman has been recognized as the GLIAC Women's Golfer of the Week, marking her second such honor this season and the third in her collegiate career. The announcement was made by the league on Wednesday.

Vestman, hailing from Madrid, Spain, and attending Colegio Base, delivered a notable performance at the Emerald Coast Collegiate in Destin, Florida. She secured a tie for 12th place among 95 competitors last Tuesday. Her three-day score was 222 (+9), with progressive improvements across rounds scoring 76, 74, and 72.

Throughout this season's 15 rounds, Vestman has maintained a team-leading scoring average of 75.7. She boasts two top-10 finishes and remains the only player on her team to consistently rank within the top 25 in all six events.

Looking ahead, Vestman and her teammates are scheduled to compete next week on March 25-26 at Northern Kentucky's The Julie tournament. This event will take place over two days at Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia, Ohio.
