Ten members of the Wayne State University football team have been recognized by the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) for their performances this season. The league office announced the honors, highlighting the achievements of these athletes.

Senior running back Kendall Williams and junior place-kicker Griffin Milovanski were voted to the All-GLIAC First Team by conference head coaches. Williams, from Farmington Hills, Michigan, ranked second in the league with 5.6 yards per carry during conference play and rushed for 400 yards in over four GLIAC games. His overall rushing yards totaled 538 with a team-high average of 4.9 yards per carry and four touchdowns.

Milovanski set a school record with 16 field goals during the regular season, including eight from at least 40 yards out. He was twice named GLIAC Special Teams Player of the Week and had 14 kickoffs result in touchbacks. His 66 points led his team and placed him third in the conference standings.

Sophomore center Aidan Tweedy, graduate student linebacker Matt Buschman, and graduate student defensive back Drake Reid were selected for the All-GLIAC Second Team. Tweedy played every snap in eight contests across all eleven games he started at center.

Buschman led Wayne State's tackling efforts through nine games before an injury sidelined him for two matches. He topped his team with 41 solo tackles and recorded six tackles for loss.

Reid demonstrated versatility by starting nine times across different positions such as cornerback, safety, and nickel/outside linebacker roles. He was among GLIAC leaders in solo tackles both overall (31) and within league play (21).

Junior defensive end Jaden Davis, senior defensive back Dalen Peeks, graduate student defensive tackle Kane Quinlan, sophomore tight end John Rayba, and junior offensive lineman Charles Wesley received honorable mentions from GLIAC.

Davis participated in ten games during his debut season with notable rankings tied-for-fourth in sacks (6) and seventh in tackles for loss (10). Peeks led pass break-ups within GLIAC while playing primarily as a cornerback but also seeing action at safety when needed.

Quinlan maintained consistent performance on WSU's defensive line throughout all eleven games contributing significantly alongside recording several tackle stats including those resulting losses against opposing offenses faced during each matchup encountered over course campaign year witnessed thus far observed accordingly therein present situation detailed hereinabove stated heretofore
