Wayne State secures second place at GLIAC Women's Cross Country Championships

Wayne State University's women's cross country team achieved a second-place finish at the 2024 GLIAC Championships held at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. The team scored a total of 84 points.

Reagan Justice from Canton, Michigan, led the Wayne State runners with a fourth-place finish and a time of 21:12.40. Briana Vojinov followed with a 14th place finish at 21:57.40. Emily Gordon secured the 20th spot with a time of 22:14.90.

Justice was named first team All-GLIAC for her performance, while both Gordon and Vojinov received second team honors.

The Wayne State squad included nine additional runners who contributed to the team's overall performance:

- Taylor Hopkins finished in 24th place with a time of 22:21.70.

- Robin Bresolin placed 30th, clocking in at 22:50.00.

- Aubrey Migoski came in 32nd with a time of 22:55.00.

- Mattie Drennan took the 37th position at 23:01.60.

- Anna Gdowski completed the race in 42nd place with a time of 23:12.30.

- Emilee Rudlaff ended up in the 48th spot, finishing at 23:21.90.

- Annalee Misch crossed the line in 56th place at 23:44.00.

- Sarah Greb was placed in the 67th position with a time of 24:10.00.

- Natalie Davies rounded out the group by finishing in the 86th position at a time of approximately one minute later.

The Warriors are set to compete next on Saturday, November 9, when they participate in the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship.
