The Wayne State University swimming and diving teams recently held their annual Alumni Meet at the Matthaei Natatorium. This year's event was sponsored by Fieger Law and featured competitions between former Warriors and current student-athletes.
Head coach Sean Peters expressed his satisfaction with the event, stating, "Tonight was an absolute celebration of some great swimming and diving all around. I was so impressed with the turnout and performances, and seeing so many alumni come back and enjoy each other, enjoy swimming again, and sharing it with the varsity squads, it was very inspiring and special."
Looking ahead, both men's and women's teams are scheduled to compete against Findlay on Friday, November 8th. The Findlay men's team is currently ranked tied-for-10th nationally by the CSCAA, while the women's team holds the No. 17 spot.
