Seven players from Wayne State University's 2024 football team have been honored with All-GLIAC awards, as determined by the league's head coaches and announced by the conference office.

John Rayba, a redshirt junior tight end from Rochester Hills, Michigan, was named to the All-GLIAC First Team. He is only the second tight end since Trent Brodbeck in 2014 to achieve this recognition. Rayba led the Warriors with five touchdown receptions, marking the highest total for a GLIAC tight end in 2024 and for a WSU tight end since at least 1960. Previously, he was an Honorable Mention All-GLIAC selection in 2023.

Myles McKatherine, a redshirt senior wide receiver from Chicago, Illinois, received Second Team All-GLIAC honors. He led Wayne State with 32 receptions and 514 receiving yards while ranking second in touchdown receptions with four. His performance placed him sixth in receiving yards and seventh in touchdown catches within the GLIAC. McKatherine is the first WSU receiver to earn all-league recognition since Trevonte Davis in 2021.

Five additional players were named to the All-GLIAC Honorable Mention team: graduate student safety Kaleb Coleman from Detroit, Michigan; sophomore quarterback Champion Edwards from Los Angeles, California; graduate student place-kicker Griffin Milovanski from Saugatuck, Michigan; graduate student linebacker Carl Ware from Detroit, Michigan; and redshirt senior offensive lineman Charles Wesley from Clinton Township, Michigan.

Kaleb Coleman concluded his year with Wayne State leading the team with 73 tackles and was recognized as GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance against NMU. Champion Edwards became notable for leading WSU in both rushing and passing yards for the first time since 1975. Griffin Milovanski earned All-GLIAC honors for a third time and set school records for career field goals made and consecutive PATs. Carl Ware excelled in forced fumbles nationally and was also named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week against Ferris State. Charles Wesley earned Honorable Mention recognition for starting ten games across various positions on the offensive line.
