Over 30 athletes from Wayne State University's women's indoor track and field team participated in the Bill Clinger Classic, hosted by Grand Valley State University. The event saw one school record broken and three other all-time top-10 marks set.

Senior Reagan Justice achieved an NCAA Provisional time in the 3,000m run with a time of 9:45.20, breaking her previous school record by over five seconds. She is also ranked 12th nationally in the 5,000m run based on a time she set in December.

Freshman Megan Zahnow recorded the fourth-best 60m hurdles time in program history. Senior Makenzie Wellner achieved the ninth-fastest 400m dash time for Wayne State. Graduate student Taylor Hopkins secured the tenth-fastest mile time in Warrior history.

The team's 4x400m relay squad is currently ranked 21st nationally, while freshman Olivia Findlay is tied for 26th nationally in the high jump.

Coach Lofdahl commented on the team's performance: "We came out with some personal records and very good performances, but there were some struggles in this meet as well. It's all part of the process of getting better throughout the season."

He praised Justice's performance: "Reagan picked up right where she left off in December, knocking another school record off the list." He also highlighted strong performances from other team members across various events.

Wayne State will next compete at Louisville's PNC Lenny Lyles Invitational and Saginaw Valley State Jet's Pizza Invite on January 31-February 1.
