Wayne State's schedule ranks as the second toughest in the Midwest Region for Division II basketball this season. Taylor Thompson from Wayne State is notable for her offensive rebounds per game, while Shea Tripp ranks highly among active players in career steals.

Shea Tripp recently delivered impressive performances both offensively and defensively during games against Saginaw Valley State and Roosevelt. Her contributions helped secure a win against Saginaw but were not enough to prevent a loss to Roosevelt.
