The Wayne State University men's tennis team, currently undefeated with a 3-0 record, is preparing for three matches this weekend. The team will host the University of Findlay on Friday, February 21, at the Doris J. & Donald L. Duchene, Sr. Athletic Facility in Detroit. The match is scheduled to start at 2:00 PM.

Doug Linden leads the University of Findlay as head coach in his 12th season. Under his leadership, the Oilers have achieved a 101-99 overall record and secured the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) regular season title last year with a 12-12 finish. Despite their recent losses to Grand Valley State University, Ferris State University, and Cleveland State University, they are looking to rebound against Wayne State.

Wayne State will then travel to face Northwood University on Saturday, February 22. Northwood's team is coached by Raul Quevedo, who is in his second season. Last year under Quevedo's guidance, Northwood ended with a 6-13 record and has started this season with a balanced 3-3 mark.

On Sunday, February 23, Wayne State will meet Western Michigan University (WMU). WMU's head coach Dave Morin enters his 25th season boasting a career record of 419-210. He has been named Mid-American Conference (MAC) Coach of the Year twelve times and is an inductee of the WMU Hall of Fame.

The Warriors recently returned home after victories over Case Western Reserve University and the University of Northwestern Ohio last weekend. George Day from Southampton was named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) men's tennis Player of the Week for his performance in these matches.
