Wayne State University's men's fencing team participated in the 2025 NCAA Midwest Regionals at Denison University, competing against teams from Cleveland State, Detroit Mercy, Lawrence, Notre Dame, and Ohio State. The regional results contribute significantly to each fencer's season score.

In the men's epee category, Wayne State had five participants: Shuayb Dinkins, Mahmoud Elsayed, Sam Garrett, Bryce Heim, and Lance Miller. Elsayed was seeded third and advanced to the final round-robin pool with an 8-3 record. He finished third overall among 24 competitors. Dinkins placed ninth and Garrett twelfth.

For men's foil, Ethan Leung led Wayne State with a ninth-place finish after advancing through pool play. Jakub Oronowicz and Sam Gneuhs followed in tenth and twelfth place respectively.

Zeyad Nofal represented Wayne State in men's sabre as a redshirt freshman. Despite an injury, he completed the event with a 2-11 record.

The NCAA will announce selections for the national championships on March 11th. The top fencers will compete on March 20-21 to determine team standings and individual medalists.
