On Tuesday, March 18, former Grosse Pointe South High School standout Karter Richards’ current collegiate team the Lake Superior State Lakers won 75-62 against the UMSL Tritons in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in TRAC - The Recreation & Athletic Center, this was the first game against the UMSL Tritons during the championship.

The Lake Superior State Lakers’ next game will take place on Tuesday, March 25 at 1 p.m. in Ford Center against Dallas Baptist Patriots.

Karter Richards’ hometown is Grosse Pointe Park and game position is guard.
