Drew Hill and Rocco Cardinale

On Thursday, March 6, former Grosse Pointe North High School standouts Drew Hill and Rocco Cardinale’s current college team, the Wayne State Warriors, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Ashland Eagles.

The game took place at Chain of Lakes Field. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Warriors’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 10 a.m. at Lake Myrtle Park against Point Park Pioneers.
