The Wayne State University women's golf team is set to participate in the William Beall Fall Classic, hosted by Findlay at the Findlay Country Club in Ohio. The event will take place over two days, Monday and Tuesday, with 16 teams competing in a 54-hole format—36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
Wayne State has already played in three tournaments this season: the Champions of Women's Golf Classic organized by Ohio Dominican, its own Warrior Invitational, and Ferris State's Bulldog Fall Classic. The team placed seventh in both the Champions of Women's Golf Classic and the Warrior Invitational, and finished fifth at the Bulldog Fall Classic.
The starting lineup for Wayne State includes Sonia Bayahya from Casablanca, Morocco; Orianna Bylsma from Montague, Michigan; Ting-Yu Kuo from Taipei, Taiwan; Clara Laffitte from Montevideo, Uruguay; and Claudia Portillo from Madrid, Spain.
Other teams competing alongside Wayne State are Ashland, Cedarville, Ferris State, Findlay, Gannon, Grand Valley State, Missouri-St. Louis, Northwood, Ohio Dominican, Rockhurst, Saginaw Valley State, Tampa, Tiffin, UIndy (University of Indianapolis), and Walsh.
