Wayne State men’s cross country takes third at Jayhawk Invite

The Wayne State University men's cross country team secured third place at the Jayhawk Invite, which took place at the MCC Golf Course in Muskegon, Michigan on October 11. The event was hosted by Muskegon Community College and featured 16 teams.

Grand Valley State University and Lansing Community College tied for first place with 30 points each. Will Engbers of Grand Valley State finished first overall.

Wayne State finished with 75 points. Individual results for Wayne State included Ian Lewis placing 11th overall with a time of 25:40.90, followed by Anthony Vinson in 13th (25:44.60), Ethan Pruzinsky in 17th (25:56.00), Andrew Yax in 18th (25:57.80), and Aidan Lobsinger in 20th (26:04.20). Other contributors were Ishaan Kundapur (22nd, 26:06.50), Parks Allen (28th, 26:15.70), Gabe Trevino (36th, 26:31.60), James Latstetter (37th, 26:32.20), Adam Hafeli (38th, 26:33.50), Ethan Muraszewski (49th, 26:51.90), Brady Heron (59th, 27:03.00), Seth Pianga (62nd, 27:08.30), Eli DiCerbo (71st, 27:28.20), and Neil Oyer (108th, 28:27.50).

The next meet for the Wayne State men's cross country team will be the SVSU Red October Meet on Friday, October 17 at the SVSU Cross Country Course.
