The team remains undefeated in five-set matches this season, now standing at 5-0.
Head coach Tim Koth commented on the team's performance: "Life on the road in this conference is very challenging. A lot of credit should be given to SVSU for the effort and preparation they put in to this match. But the Warriors dug deep and found a way, led by Kayla (Giroux) and Kayla (Dulgar). To turn this match around and come back to the D with the win, I'm very proud of their effort."
