On Saturday, May 10, former University Liggett School standout Oliver Service’s current college team, the Texas Longhorns, lost 2-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Florida Gators.
The game took place at UFCU Disch-Falk Field. This was their second matchup against the Gators this season.
The Longhorns’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 11 at 1 p.m. at UFCU Disch-Falk Field against Florida Gators.
Wayne State University’s men’s tennis team ended its season after losing to Northwood University in the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament on May 11. Despite switching up pairings during doubles play and securing one singles win from Luis Klaus, they were unable to advance further.
Wayne State University’s men’s golf team has been selected for its eighteenth NCAA Midwest/Central Super Regional appearance since 2004. Coach Mike Horn expresses optimism about his team’s performance heading into competition starting May 7.
